The field for the 2021 ACC Baseball Tournament in Charlotte was officially set Sunday morning, with UNC earning the No. 6 overall seed.
All 12 teams competing in the event are split into pools of three. The Tar Heels (26-24, 18-18 ACC) are paired with No. 3 seed NC State (28-15, 19-14 ACC) and No. 10 seed Pitt (22-19, 16-17 ACC).
Once all three teams in each pool have played one another, the team with the best record will move on to play in Saturday’s single-elimination semifinals.
UNC is scheduled to begin play on Tuesday against Pitt at 7 p.m, then will have two days off before taking on NC State on Friday at 7 p.m.
Sunday’s championship game is scheduled to start at noon.
