The ACC announced its all-conference softball teams on Tuesday, with a total of six Tar Heels getting the nod this year–the most the program has had in a single season since 2008.
Leading the way were First Team selections Brittany Pickett and Kristina Burkhardt. The Second Team included Leah Murray, Kiani Ramsey and Megan Dray, while Hannah George took home a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
This group helped lead the Tar Heels to a 33-17 regular season record (17-7 ACC) and the No. 4 overall seed for this week’s ACC Tournament.
UNC will begin play at the conference tournament against No. 5 seed Louisville on Thursday.
