UNC head wrestling coach Coleman Scott released his team’s schedule for the 2018-19 season on Wednesday, with the Tar Heels taking on 10 teams among the NCAA’s top 30 and once again making a trip to the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

The season begins on Nov. 4 with the Hokie Open in Roanoke, Virginia, with three consecutive dual matches on the road–at Chattanooga (Nov. 11), Arizona State (Nov. 16) and Appalachian State (Nov. 25)–to follow after.

Next on the docket is the trip to Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Invitational, which runs from Dec. 1-2.

A two-week break awaits once the Tar Heels return from Sin City, as the team prepares for its home dual opener against Nebraska on Dec. 16.

From there, UNC will head to Deerfield Beach, Florida for the South Beach Duals (Dec. 28-29) and then to Laramie, Wyoming for the Wyoming Duals (Jan. 4).

The rest of the season then contains only dual matches against one other team, beginning with a visit to Princeton on Jan. 11.

UNC is scheduled to open ACC competition at home vs. Virginia on Jan. 26, before going on its final two out-of-state road trips of the regular season to Bucknell (Feb. 1) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 2).

Home duals against Virginia Tech (Feb. 8), NC State (Feb. 15), Cornell (Feb. 16) will then set up the season finale at Duke on Feb. 22.

The ACC Championships will be held in Blacksburg, Virginia on March 9 or 10, while the NCAA Championships in Pittsburgh are set for March 21-23.
