The ACC announced its annual preseason All-Conference team on Tuesday, with a trio of UNC stars among those selected.

Senior Chris Gray–a transfer from Boston University who led the Tar Heels with 48 points in just seven games last season–was one of three attackers named to the team.

Junior defenseman Will Bowen and junior short-stick midfielder Connor Maher were also among three players named at their respective positions.

The Tar Heels were picked to finish fourth in the league this season according a poll conducted by the league’s head coaches, despite sitting at 7-0 when the 2020 season was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

UNC opens the 2021 season this Sunday by hosting Denver in a game set to start at 11 a.m.
