After 36 holes on Saturday at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, the UNC men’s golf team sits in second place at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate.
The Tar Heels have a team score of 1-under-par, and sit just one stroke behind Illinois (-2) for the tournament lead.
Both teams have a solid size cushion on third-place North Florida, which currently sits at 6-over-par entering Sunday’s final round.
On the individual side of things, Austin Hitt at 2-under-par is UNC’s top contender–as he heads into Sunday tied for sixth place overall.
