The ACC revealed Monday five different Tar Heels earned Player of the Week honors for their position after helping guide UNC to a 62-26 blowout over then-No. 10 Miami on Saturday.

Michael Carter highlights the group by winning ACC Running Back of the Week with a career-high 308 rushing yards and two touchdowns — becoming just the second Tar Heel to ever reach the 300-yard mark on the ground.

By becoming just the second player in the FBS to record a passing touchdown, a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in the same game this season, Sam Howell earned the ACC Quarterback of the Week award. He also threw for 223 yards on just 14 completions.

Howell’s top target was Dyami Brown, who caught four passes for 167 yards on the way to being named ACC Receivere of the Week.

Joshua Ezeudu was the league’s Offensive Lineman of the Week after grading out as the top performer up front for a Tar Heel offense that rushed for 554 yards and set a new school-record with 778 total yards.

On defense, Jeremiah Gemmel earned ACC Linebacker of the Week status for his efforts in slowing down the Hurricanes, racking up eight tackles (2.5 for losses), two pass breakups and a half sack.

UNC accounted for five of the nine players selected by the ACC this week, the most it has had all season.
