For the second time this season–and third time in his career–UNC senior linebacker Chazz Surratt was recognized Monday as the ACC Linebacker of the Week for his performance in the Tar Heels’ 48-21 blowout win over NC State this past Saturday.

Surratt tallied a team-high eight tackles to go along with a sack, a forced fumble and an interception in a game where UNC held the Wolfpack to a paltry 34 rushing yards.

With Surratt leading the way on defense, the Tar Heels have opened the season 4-1 and are currently the No. 15 ranked team in the nation according to the Associated Press.

UNC is scheduled to return to action this Saturday with a prime-time road game at Virginia, with kick-off set for 8 p.m.
