After ending the regular season with back-to-back home losses to rival NC State this past weekend, the UNC baseball team fell three spots to No. 23 in the newest edition of the D1Baseball.com Top 25–which was released on Monday.
The Tar Heels finished the year with a 38-17 record and will be the No. 5 seed in this week’s ACC Tournament in Durham.
UCLA, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Stanford and Arkansas represent the top five in the newest rankings, followed by No. 6 Georgia Tech, No. 7 Georgia, No. 8 East Carolina, No. 9 Louisville and No. 10 Texas Tech.
Other ACC schools besides UNC, Georgia Tech and Louisville among the poll are: No. 15 NC State and No. 17 Miami.
