The ACC named UNC senior attacker Ela Hazar its Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, following a week in which Hazar tallied an incredible three goals and 13 assists in the Tar Heels’ victories over No. 9 Northwestern and Elon.

Boston College goalie Lauren Daly took home the league’s Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Hazar broke the school’s single-game record with eight assists in UNC’s 18-13 win over Northwestern on Saturday, which also moved her into first place on the program’s all-time list in the category as well.

She tallied a hat trick and five assists in the 12-1 victory over Elon last Tuesday.

The Tar Heels currently sit at 6-2 this season, with Hazar’s performances a big reason why. They’ll return to action this Saturday on the road against Boston College.
