Longtime NBA veteran–and former UNC superstar–Vince Carter revealed Wednesday on ESPN’s “The Jump” that he will retire following the upcoming 2019-20 season, which will be his 22nd in the league.

“I got one more in me,” Carter told the show’s co-host Stephen Jackson. “One more run in me.”

Should he play in at least one game once the calendar hits 2020, Carter will become the first player in the history of the NBA to play in at least four different decades.

Originally drafted fifth overall in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors–who then traded him to the Toronto Raptors on the same day–Carter has been named an All-Star eight times throughout his historic career.

The man once dubbed “Half Man, Half Amazing” then went on to serve stints with the New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks.

For his career, Carter has averages of 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Last season with the Hawks, he served as a veteran presence on a young team and put together a stat line of 7.4 points 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per night.
