Former UNC star point guard Coby White–a Goldsboro native now with the Chicago Bulls–revealed Tuesday night on Instagram that he has cut the signature floppy hairstyle that helped make him a fan favorite in Chapel Hill.

The move comes after White wrapped up his second season in the NBA on Sunday night, scoring 19 points to go with five rebounds and five assists in the Bulls’ 118-112 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Since being drafted No. 7 overall by Chicago in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, White has posted averages of 16.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

During his debut campaign, he became the first Bulls rookie since Michael Jordan to score at least 30 points in three consecutive games.
