Former UNC point guard Coby White — who was recently named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team — has been working to help distribute blue-light glasses to students in the Chicago Park District and at Eastern Wayne Middle School in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Now a member of the Chicago Bulls, White teamed up with Zenni — the official eyewear provider for the Bulls and a sponsor of their jerseys — to help these students during time of need.

The point guard donated pairs of blue-light glasses, which work to reduce eye strain by blocking the blue light emitted from digital screens. With so many kids across the country taking part in virtual learning, this donation aims to help kids get through that struggle just a little bit easier.

White is a native of Goldsboro and attended Eastern Wayne Middle School.

After being selected with the No. 7 overall pick by the Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft, White went on to average 13.2 points and 2.7 assists per game.
