UNC Facilities Services announced Country Club Road is closed from Monday, July 6 until Monday, August 10, as crews work to repair a stormwater pipe.

The affected area spans between Raleigh Street and Battle Lane. Traffic heading East towards Country Club Road from Cameron Avenue can turn right onto Raleigh Street before turning left onto South Road. Traffic traveling West from Country Club Road towards Cameron Avenue can turn right onto Battle Lane, left onto Franklin Street and left again onto Raleigh Street.
The release from UNC suggests drivers afford themselves extra time when making their way through this part of campus.
Facilities Services also announced Raleigh Street will similarly be closed on Tuesday, July 7, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. between East Franklin Street and Country Club Road. This closure is due to a tree removal project, and is only expected to be in effect Tuesday.
The release ended by asking anyone with questions on the project to contact Allison Reid, executive director of communications and marketing for Finance and Operations, at allison_reid@unc.edu.
