Orange County authorities said they are searching for a Hillsborough resident on Monday night and turned to the public for help in locating him.

An Orange County Alerts message shared at 7:49 p.m. said Dean Turner was reported missing and had not returned home after leaving his residence around Oakland Drive after 11:30 a.m. In the message, authorities said Turner recently suffered a stroke and is experiencing some mobility issues.

Turner is described as a 57-year-old white male, who stands at 5-foot-10, weighs around 160 pounds, and who has salt-and-pepper hair and a goatee. He is believed to be wearing a black button-up shirt, green hiking pants, blue sneakers, a dark brown hat, and eyeglasses. The OC Alerts message also said Turner uses two walking sticks.
