The Orange County Sheriff’s Office alerted the community on Tuesday to a missing persons report of a local teenager.
A post on the agency’s Facebook page said Joshua Lane Corona was reported missing Tuesday morning by his parents. The family told investigators they saw the 17-year-old at 11 p.m. on Monday but he couldn’t be found in the morning. The sheriff’s office said there’s a chance Corona is in the area of Joppa Oaks off NC Highway 86, near the Hampton Pointe shopping center.
Tuesday’s social media post described Corona as 6 feet tall with a thin build. There is no clothing description available for what he might be wearing.
