UPDATE: Chapel Hill Police shared an alert at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, saying Jessica Putnam was safely located.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the public for help locating a missing person on Monday.
A release from police said 38-year-old Jessica Putnam, who is a Chapel Hill resident, was last seen on Saturday, May 18, around 11:30 a.m. in the area of Elliott Road.
Police described Putnam as 5-foot-4 and weighing around 135 pounds. She has long brown hair, brown eyes, and was described as wearing a black sweater and pajama pants the last time she was located.
Monday’s alert said Putnam is not believed to be in danger.
Chapel Hill Police requested anyone with information about Putnam’s whereabouts or wellbeing call 911 or contact the department directly at 919-968-2760.
