UPDATE: The Chapel Hill Police Department said Monday morning that Kimberly Austin has been safely located.
The Chapel Hill Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a missing person. Town resident Kimberly Austin, 42, was last seen Tuesday, February 4 at around 4 p.m. in the 5600 block of U.S. Highway 15-501.
Police describe Austin as five feet, six inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing an orange blouse and black pants and has a single nose piercing. Police do not believe Austin is in any danger.
