This week is a lighter one in local government – made a little heavier by Orange County Commissioners, who had to reschedule last week’s meeting due to the snow. They’ll discuss school construction, property revaluation, and upcoming transit plans. Meanwhile in Pittsboro, Chatham County Commissioners will meet jointly with the Chatham school board to discuss a variety of issues, ranging from future school facility needs to the extension of broadband Internet.
Here’s a rundown of local government meetings this week in Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties.
