Orange County Government
In addition to the town governments, the Orange County government and its facilities will be closed December 31 in observance of New Year’s Day. The county will resume normal operations on Monday, January 3.
These county closures on Friday include the Orange County Tax Office. To ensure credit for 2021 tax purposes, Thursday, December 30 will be the final day to make in-person payments.
Local transit will also be affected on December 31. Orange County Public Transit will operate limited service serving the in-county dialysis route only.
Additional closures include the Orange County Public Library from Friday, December 31 through Sunday, January 2.
