This series of posts will be made monthly on Chapelboro to help inform our community when local government meetings will be. All meeting days, locations and times may be subject to change. Check respective town websites for additional information.

While local elections for town government are likely to grab attention in the coming weeks, October looks to continue a busy period for local governments across Orange and Chatham Counties. With elected officials discussing topics ranging from affordable housing to development projects and community safety to funding from the American Rescue Plan Act, there will be no shortage of agenda items.

If you’re looking to attend or tune in to meetings, here is a full list of those scheduled across our community so far for this month.
