Burlington Police are investigating a case of shots being fired into a residence for the third time in two days.
Police say just after 10 o’clock Tuesday night officer responded to a residence located on Hatch Street. Officers were nearby on an unrelated call, according to authorities, when they heard four to five gunshots come from the area. Officers were then flagged down by a witness but no details were released on what the witness saw.
Police are also investigating incidents from early Tuesday morning.
Police say at the time of the shooting the dwelling was occupied by five individuals ranging from 15 to 23 years old.
No one was injured.
