Chapel Hill Police have arrested four suspects following a reported armed robbery in Southern Village on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said a suspect reportedly displayed a handgun and took $100 from the victim before fleeing in a vehicle. Carrboro Police then stopped a vehicle matching the suspected vehicle description heading toward unincorporated Orange County, according to Chapel Hill Police.

A handgun and the money were recovered from the scene and four suspects were taken into custody.
