A crash following a pursuit through the Southern Village neighborhood in Chapel Hill has led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
Police say officers were investigating a vehicle theft on Nolen Lane in Chapel Hill around 7:45 Wednesday night. Authorities eventually located the vehicle and a “short pursuit” took place.
The vehicle “crashed into several vehicles at the intersection of Copperline Drive and Brookgreen Drive,” according to police.
Officials say Jimmy Ray Hardin was arrested and charges are pending.
