Porch pirates have become a growing nuisance in the age of internet shopping.
And Carrboro Police are asking for public assistance locating a suspect after a package was stolen off of a porch at a local residence. And it appears this was not the first incident in Carrboro.
Police put out the call on social media Tuesday asking for help identifying the suspect who was caught on home surveillance approaching a home on Monday and taking a package from the doorstep. The male suspect calmly exits the passenger side of a parked SUV, approached the porch, picks up a package and then walks back to the waiting vehicle. The suspects then drove away.
