Carrboro Police are continuing an investigation into a reported armed robbery near Carrboro Plaza late last week.
An incident report shows that a suspect pointed a gun at the victim “demanding money, and then keeping her in the car.” Documents show the victim was robbed of $40.
The incident took place in the parking lot area of Carrboro Plaza on NC 54 and was reported to police around 4 a.m. Thursday, October 17.
Carrboro Police Captain Chris Atack said law enforcement does not believe there is any danger to the community at this time and that the case is still under investigation.
