Carrboro Police are asking for information regarding a reported sexual battery of a female Friday morning.
Police were called to the area of South Field Circle in Lake Hogan Farms just after 11 a.m. when a female reported she had been assaulted.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a dark blue hoodie and gray sweatpants. Police say he fled the area after the incident and police were unable to locate him.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Carrboro Police. Authorities are also encouraging residents to “keep their eyes open for suspicious activity in the area.
