UNC Police Looking for 2 Suspects Following Alleged Assault

UNC Police are investigating a reported assault near Kenan Stadium around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities said a female victim reported being “whistled and yelled at by two unknown males.”

Police said one male grabbed her arm “to prevent her from leaving,” but she was able to get away.

Both suspects are described as black males: one in his late teens, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall with a stocky build; the second suspect was described as close to 6 feet tall with a “slim but muscular build.” Both suspects were estimated to be in their late teens to early 20s.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 911.
