An arrest has been made in connection with a December robbery in Chapel Hill.

A release from the US Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force says that Nathan Devon Brown was arrested around 10:30 on Tuesday morning in Greensboro. The Chapel Hill Police Department had issued an arrest warrant for the 44-year-old Brown for a charge of robbery with a dangerous weapon on December 4, 2015.

The charge stems from an incident where Brown is accused of approaching a victim from behind on Homestead Road and robbing them at gunpoint. Authorities say Brown tapped the victim on the shoulder and when the victim turned, Brown was pointing a hand gun at them demanding their personal property.

Officials say Brown was taken into custody without incident at an apartment complex in Greensboro. Brown was then taken to the Guilford County Jail where he is being held on the charge.
