There’s not too many places in the United States where you’ll find an ice arena along with aquatic and fitness centers, but one of them is practically next door!
The Orange County Sportsplex hosts the Triangle Adult and Youth Hockey Leagues, the Carolina Ice Synchro skating team, Hillsborough Aquatics Club swim team and provides pre-school, after-school and summer camp activities for kids year-round! Today’s “This is Tourism” welcomes John Stock, executive director at the Sportsplex, to talk about what the facility is, how it fits into the community and the benefits of having such an amazing recreational resource this close to home.
