Tuesday marked the release of the Oracle/ITA Division I Preseason Women’s Tennis rankings, a list that includes a trio of Tar Heel standouts among the top 10.
Seniors Makenna Jones, Alexa Graham and Sara Daavettila checked in at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 7 respectively, illustrating the strength of this year’s UNC team.
If that’s not enough talent, sophomore Cameron Morra landed just outside the top 10 at No. 12, while junior Alle Sanford is ranked at No. 110.
The fall season begins this weekend at the Furman Invitational, which runs Friday through Sunday in Greenville, S.C.
