Despite suffering a heartbreaking loss to Florida State this past Sunday in the ACC Tournament Final, the UNC women’s soccer team was still rewarded with a No. 1 seed on Monday for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

The Tar Heels are scheduled to take on Howard University at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary during the first round of the event on Saturday, Nov. 10.

It also marks UNC’s 37th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as the program seeks its first national title since 2012.
