With a dominant 3-0 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the ACC Tournament on Sunday at Dorrance Field, the third-ranked UNC women’s soccer team punched its ticket to the semifinals.

Following a scoreless first half, the Tar Heels came out firing in the second half–with Lotte Wubben-Moy scoring twice and Ru Mucherera also finding the back of the net to give their team the victory.

As a team, UNC piled up 15 total shots compared to only four for Notre Dame.

UNC improves to 17-1-1 on the season, while the Fighting Irish dropped to 10-7-2.

The Tar Heels will take on rival NC State in the tournament semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m.
