The No. 2 UNC women’s lacrosse team tied the school record for goals in a game on Friday, as the Tar Heels rolled to a 24-3 victory on the road against the High Point Panthers.

Junior attacker Jamie Ortega led the charge with six goals and two assists, while Katie Hoeg added four goals and four assists. Scottie Rose Growney and Tayler Warehime also added three goals apiece as the Tar Heels moved to 2-0 to begin the 2020 campaign.
