The top-ranked UNC women’s tennis team held onto its spot tied atop the ACC standings on Sunday with an easy 6-1 victory on the road over the Louisville Cardinals.

It marked the fourth win in a row for the Tar Heels (20-2, 9-1 ACC), who continue to prove why they’ve held onto the No. 1 ranking for much of the season.

UNC took the doubles point behind outstanding play from Jessie Aney and Alexa Graham–the nation’s top-ranked doubles tandem–before rolling to five consecutive singles victories.

Behind 6-0, Louisville (13-8, 3-7 ACC) finally got on the board with a win in the final singles match–a close 7-5, 7-6 victory by Raven Neely over Aney.
