Seedings for the upcoming women’s ITA National Indoor Tournament were revealed on Wednesday, with UNC earning the No. 2 seed for the 16-team event–which will take place this weekend in Seattle.
The Tar Heels are the defending champions of the tournament and come into it fresh off a 5-2 win over then-No. 2 Vanderbilt this past Saturday.
UNC also won the ITA National Indoor Tournament in 2013 and 2015, while finishing as the runner-up in 2016 and 2017.
The teams play in a single-elimination style bracket in order to determine a champion over a four-day span.
