The scheduled women’s basketball game on Sunday between UNC and Pittsburgh was postponed Thursday due to COVID-19 issues among the Pitt program.

UNC already had its game Thursday against Syracuse postponed for similar reasons, then tried to schedule No. 2 Louisville on Friday before travel logistics forced that game to be pushed back to this upcoming Tuesday.

Pittsburgh postponed each of its next four games while it follows virus protocols, leaving the Tar Heels without a game this week.

To this point in the season, UNC is 7-2 overall with a 2-2 mark in conference play.
