A fantastic performance by the UNC volleyball team on Thursday night in Chapel Hill saw the Tar Heels earn a clean 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-20, 25-20) over the rival Duke Blue Devils.

The win marked UNC’s first sweep over Duke since Oct. 2015.

Lauren Harrison led the Tar Heels (15-11, 12-4) offensively with 12 kills, while a total of four UNC players had at least eight.

Duke fell to 12-17 overall and 5-11 in conference play with the loss.

UNC has now won a season-high five consecutive matches.

The Tar Heels will host Wake Forest on Senior Day in their next match, which is set for Wednesday at 2 p.m.
