UNC senior safety Myles Wolfolk was recently ruled academically ineligible, and will now miss the remainder of the season.
According to UNC, Wolfolk fell behind on work for graduate school. He graduated last December with degrees in communications and sociology.
Wolfolk was expected to be a major part of the Tar Heel secondary this season, returning from injuries that caused him to miss the second half of last season. He had five tackles with one pass defended during Carolina’s opening victory against Syracuse last Saturday.
For his career at UNC, Wolfolk has played in 20 games–recording 86 tackles and five interceptions.
