The UNC football program announced Thursday that its game at Notre Dame on Oct. 30 will be nationally televised on NBC in prime time at 7:30 p.m.
It is likely to be one of the toughest games of the season for the Tar Heels, who are expected to begin the year among the top 15 teams in America.
Notre Dame defeated UNC 31-17 at Kenan Stadium in 2020 on the way to earning one of four spots in the College Football Playoff.
The Fighting Irish have won the last three meetings between the two schools and 20 of 21 all-time. The Tar Heels were forced to vacate their 2008 victory in the series, meaning their last win against Notre Dame offically came in 1960.
