The UNC men’s tennis team rolled to an easy 6-1 victory on Friday night at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, knocking off the Louisville Cardinals to move to 15-4 this season–including a 6-1 record against ACC opponents.

After just barely winning the doubles point, the Tar Heels won each of the first three singles matches to clinch the overall team victory early on in the match.

Louisville (14-7, 4-4 ACC) earned its only team point of the day when Brandon Lancaster knocked off UNC’s Josh Peck in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, to make the team score 4-1.

UNC won all but one of the other five singles matches in straight sets, as it continues to make easy work of the conference schedule so far this season.
