UNC announced via Twitter on Tuesday that it will host the 2020 Rammy Awards–which celebrate the top athletes, teams, games and moments across the school’s athletic programs–online this year as a direct result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The awards ceremony typically takes place on-campus at Memorial Hall, but this new online format will allow fans to participate for the first time.
A fan vote will be conducted on Twitter for each award, which will then be tallied alongside the votes of the school’s coaches and athletic department staff to determine the winners.
