A forecast calling for steady rain across most of the afternoon and evening on Tuesday has caused UNC to postpone its scheduled baseball game against VCU.

First pitch was originally scheduled for 3 p.m.

No date has been determined yet for the game to be rescheduled.

The Tar Heels (7-5) will not have a mid-week game this week, and will begin preparing to open ACC play this weekend with a three-game road series at No. 13 Louisville.
