Three UNC men’s tennis players were selected Wednesday to take part in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Tournaments, which will run from May 20-25 in Orlando, Florida.
Junior William Blumberg–a former NCAA runner-up–and sophomore Benjamin Sigouin were each named to the 64-player singles tournament as at-large selections this year.
Blumberg is ranked No. 18 nationally, while Sigouin is No. 40.
Meanwhile, on the doubles side of the event, Blumberg will team with senior Blaine Boyden after receiving the ACC’s automatic bid to the tournament. The duo are ranked No. 16 in the nation together.
