The ACC released its preseason women’s basketball All-Conference teams on Thursday, with a pair of Tar Heels making the cut.

Redshirt junior guard Paris Kea and sophomore guard Stephanie Watts were among 10 players on the league’s All-ACC team.

Kea–a transfer from Vanderbilt–led UNC with 17.2 points and 4.1 assists per game last season, her first with the Tar Heels.

She also played a team-high 36.2 minutes per game.

It was also the first year in Chapel Hill for Watts last season, and she did not disappoint.

The 2016 ACC Freshman of the Year displayed a versatile all-around game–averaging 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists for head coach Sylvia Hatchell.

Kea and Watts are expected to be the leaders for UNC once again this season, but the Tar Heels were picked to finish 10th in the league’s preseason poll.

UNC freshman center Janelle Bailey was also included in the preseason awards mix, as she was included on the ACC’s Newcomer Watch List.
