The 17th-ranked UNC wrestling team completed a successful trip to West Point on Saturday by going 3-0 at the Army Duals, earning wins over No. 21 Army, Wyoming and American.

UNC began the day with a tough 19-12 victory over Army, before edging past Wyoming 20-15 and blowing out American 37-4.

Zach Sherman won all three of his matches at 141 pounds for the Tar Heels, while Kennedy Monday did the same at 165 pounds. In addition, Austin O’Connor, Clay Lautt, A.C. Headlee and Joey Mazzara each defeated an opponent ranked in the top 15 at their respective weight classes.

As a result, the Tar Heels move to 7-1 in dual match competition this season.
