The top-ranked UNC women’s tennis team kept its perfect season alive on Friday morning in Rome, Georgia, rolling to a 4-0 victory over No. 8 seed Wake Forest in the quarterfinals of this year’s ACC Championships.
With the win, the Tar Heels improve to 24-0 this season and increase their school-record winning streak to 42 matches overall.
UNC clinched the doubles point to begin Friday’s match, then received three quick singles victories in succession by Cameron Morra (6-1, 6-1), Elizabeth Scotty (6-2, 6-1) and Alexa Graham (6-2, 6-1) to seal up the team win.
The Tar Heels have won the last four ACC Championships and their last 13 total matches at the event, while making the semifinals each year since 2009.

UNC will take on No. 13 Virginia–the tournament’s No. 4 seed–on Saturday at 10 a.m. with a berth in the finals on the line.
