The No. 3 seed UNC women’s tennis team wasted no time advancing to the ACC Tournament Semifinals on Friday afternoon at the Cary Tennis Center, cruising to an easy, 4-1 victory over the 11th-seeded Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the quarterfinals.

Chloe Oullet-Pizer earned the clinching point with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Chloe Franco on Court Six, sending the Tar Heels (24-3) to the conference semifinals for the 10th consecutive year.

Wake Forest (19-13) actually took the early lead by stealing the doubles point away from UNC–a rare sight to behold–but the Tar Heels responded with four consecutive victories in straight sets to win the match.
