UNC men’s soccer seniors Nils Bruening and Alex Comsia were each selected Thursday to the Google Cloud Academic Division I Men’s All-America team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

This marks the second Academic All-American selection for both players, who were each third team selections in 2016.

Comsia was the ACC Defender of the Year this season and is a three-time All-ACC Academic performer.

A forward from Germany, Bruening has been recognized as an All-ACC Academic selection on two occasions for his work as a business administration major.
