UNC junior Michael Busch was named a Preseason First Team All-American by Baseball America on Monday, as he prepares to try and guide the Tar Heels to a second consecutive trip to the College World Series.
After spending two years at first base for the Tar Heels–leading the team in nearly every major hitting category last season–Busch is expected to move into the outfield this season.
He has already earned Preseason All-American honors from D1Baseball.com (First Team) and Collegiate Baseball (Second Team).
