The fifth-ranked UNC men’s soccer team clinched its fourth consecutive ACC Coastal Division title on Tuesday night at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, after defeating the No. 14 Duke Blue Devils 1-0.

Jack Skahan’s goal in the 56th minute–which came when he chipped the goalkeeper following a defensive miscue by Duke (9-5-1, 4-3 ACC)–served as the difference on a night where offense was scarce.

UNC (12-2-1, 6-1 ACC) totaled just eight shots in the match, while Duke tallied only four.

It was also the third straight shutout for the Tar Heels, who have now recorded nine this season through 15 games.
